From leader Larry Hughes:
As expected, the Winsor trail was hard packed and actually bare in places, up to Puerto Nambe. However, from Puerto Nambe to treeline on Penitente the snowshoeing was great. We were able to follow the track Lolina and I made a couple of weeks ago, although it was wind swept and hard to discern in some places. This minimized our trail breaking. The wind was biting above treeline, so after a quick lunch and a few pictures at the summit, we headed down.
