El clima nublado y algo frio mejoró y el sol salió cuando llegamos al Ojo de las Sandías luego de una hora y media de subir y bajar por las montañas. Dicen que el Ojo, de autor/a anónimo, fue pintado en los años 60, habiendo sido retocado hace poco, pues se vé muy colorido. Ruta sin señalización, ardua subida.
The cloudy and somewhat cool weather cleared after we reached the Eye of the Sandias an hour and a half later – it is said that the painting ‘appeared’ around the 1960’s. Anonymous author. Seems like the Eye has been painted again recently. Unmarked route, steep climbing.
