Save the Date! 2024 Climate Solutions – Just Transition Town Halls

This August, “Gen Green” will engage with communities across New Mexico with the goal of educating and empowering our community through a series of Climate Solutions – Just Transition Town Halls. Co-hosted by Dreams In Action, Sierra Club Rio Grande Chapter and The Semilla Project, these gatherings are space for community members to ask questions and collaborate with state legislators. We are eager to work together with our members, supporters, community leaders, advocacy partners, and legislators for policy changes that promote Climate Justice, Green Job Workforce Development, Access to the Outdoors, and Protection of Water, Land, and Air.

The events will foster inclusive discussions, amplify the voices of BIPOC communities, raise awareness of environmental issues, and work with elected officials to bring forward key initiatives. Also find out about immediate actions you can take to help the climate and to benefit from utility, state and federal climate benefits from e-bikes to stoves.
