Join us this Friday for our January Sierra Club and Root Beer. Our speaker is Bill Pentler, Resource Management and Visitor Services Supervisor for the ABQ Open Space Division. His topic is “Coyotes and Other Urban Wildlife: a discussion about adjusting to the moment instead of creating a battle.”
Living in and near the metro area, we have all heard stories of coyote and other wildlife encounters. Bill’s presentation will talk about what you can do to both be safe and keep our environment safe for our families and pets. He will also address what we can do to protect the wildlife around an urban environment.
Pentler has a degree in Zoology and Psychology, mostly animal behavior. He has an extensive career around animals in zoos, state parks, and nature centers. Come join us for an informative discussion and bring both your experiences and questions.
Light refreshments (including root-beer floats) will be provided.
Where: Albuquerque Center for Peace and Justice, 202 Harvard Drive SE
RSVP/questions (630) 809-4234 or fjhoudek@gmail.com.
