Global Warming Express was founded by two fourth-graders. Their group of grade-schoolers quickly became known for their honest and effective voices in public forums. The GWE kids were credited with helping pass Santa Fe’s bag-free initiative, earning them a seat on the Mayor’s Climate Action Task Force, and they testify and meet with legislators yearly at the Roundhouse. The Global Warming Express after-school science and civics program has expanded from Santa Fe to Albuquerque and Las Cruces schools, and from 10 kids to 350. Please help us support their efforts!
Suggested donation $100. Free GWE book with $150. Become an event host and sponsor a student for a semester for $500. RSVP to 505-715-8388. Or donate online.
