On January 18th, eighteen excursionistas walked around the sacred volcanoes on the west side. Even though the temperature was low, the sun’s rays and the beautiful company made our hike super pleasant.
On January 24th, we joyfully explored Michael M. Emery trails in the foothills. Our seven excursionistas admired the new vegetation growing after a fire that hit the area a couple of years ago. One of our adventurous participants shared with us a couple of lines of Neruda’s poetry in Spanish, polishing her second language.
On February 2nd, ten excursionistas looked for and marvelled at the ancient petroglyphs carved in the Rinconada Canyon area. The mellow hike offered us a great space to enjoy beautiful vistas and conviviality.
