On Nov. 19, the Navajo Nation, Western Albuquerque Land Holdings (WAHL) and Albuquerque Bernalillo County Water Utility announced an agreement on a pipeline easement to allow the Village of To’hajiilee to access desperately needed water.

City of Albuquerque: Resolution R-20-65
The Albuquerque City Council is introducing legislation R-20-65 that would formally end the Albuquerque Police Department’s participation in the 1033 military equipment surplus program. The resolution is sponsored by Councilors Pat Davis and Lan Sena. A virtual public hearing will be held Thursday, July 16 starting at noon.
Groups ask state to protect Albuquerque Basin aquifer
Efforts are underway to better protect the entire Albuquerque Basin aquifer at the state level with an Executive Order.
